ReplyDeleteit's actually a lyric to a song called "Jimmy" by a rock band named "Tool"
the vocalist of the band "Maynard James Keenan" is actually like an artist .. a musician and a philosopher ... to understand one of his songs' meanings u must go through a lot of connected issues like "Evolution" ... "Transfiguration" ... " alchemists " and more ..
basically the band is more into cosmic theories ... how we will be able to evolve into some higher being after death ... how we can open our third eye - referring to : our subconscious - and be able to see divinity and how we will be reunited with God , from our mortal ground ...
they trying to open your third eye to realize a lot of things and to be really open to what ever may come ... this comes along with a lot of the disturbance and the deeper chaos that a lot of us may feel inside because of some experiences we had in our life ...
even if it good or bad ... this where "Jimmy" or "Elven" came from ...
their videos also is so complicated you may understand it from a lot of different angles ..
"Adam Jones " the guitarist of the band and also the art director of the videos described it once as he making the clips in sort of a way that really reaches right ahead for ur subconscious that even if a regular fella saw them and didn't understand a thing , he just will take with him a sort of visions without even noticing !!
